Holiday Shopping with a Purpose
To help raise awareness for all women’s cancers, Saks Fifth Avenue San Francisco and the Entertainment Industry Foundation will partner with Fertile Hope to host KEY TO THE CURE, a national shopping weekend, during October 18th through October 21st in San Francisco.
Saks Fifth Avenue San Francisco invites the entire family to shop and be entertained on Saturday, October 20th from 9am–12pm. Let your child be dazzled with magic, music, and more... For additional details, please visit

Small children should never carve pumpkins. Instead of carving they can use icing as a glue and decorate their pumpkins with a variety of Halloween candies, sprinkles, jimmies, gummies etc.

Consider adding reflective tape or striping to costumes and Trick-or-Treat bags for greater visibility.
When shopping for costumes, wigs and accessories look for and purchase those with a label clearly indicating that they are flame resistant.
If a sword, cane, or stick is a part of your child's costume, make sure it is not sharp or too long. These accessories if s/he stumbles or trips may easily hurt a child.

You need more on Halloween safety tips? Please click here to visit American Academy of Pediatrics webpage for some great advice.

A good meal prior to parties and trick-or-treating will discourage children from filling up on Halloween treats.
Consider purchasing non-food treats for those who visit your home, such as arts& crafts kits or pretend & play accessories.
